Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: April 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") supplements the FieldsHub Terms of Service. It describes uses of FieldsHub that are not allowed. Violations may result in suspension or termination of access, without refund, and where appropriate, referral to law enforcement.

1. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to (and not to permit any user to):

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation, including labor, wage-and-hour, immigration, anti-discrimination, anti-bribery, export-control, sanctions, or workplace-safety law.
  • Misclassify employees as independent contractors, or use the Service to evade payroll-tax or worker-classification obligations.
  • Track, monitor, geofence, or photograph workers without providing required notice and obtaining required consent.
  • Misrepresent identity, affiliation, or authority (including spoofing emails, invoices, or estimates sent through the Service).
  • Engage in fraud, including chargeback fraud, billing fraud, false claims, or false time entries.
  • Send spam, phishing messages, or unsolicited bulk communications via SMS, email, or in-app messaging.
  • Distribute or store malware, ransomware, or any malicious code.
  • Attempt to bypass, defeat, or circumvent security or rate-limiting controls.
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service except via our published security-disclosure process.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service except as permitted by law.
  • Scrape or extract data via automated means in volumes inconsistent with normal use.
  • Resell, sublicense, white-label, or redistribute the Service without our written consent.
  • Use the Service to compete with FieldsHub by building a substantially similar product.
  • Upload content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, harassing, threatening, hateful, sexually exploitative, or that depicts violence against an identifiable person.
  • Upload content for which you do not hold the necessary rights.
  • Use the Service to store or process information whose handling requires HIPAA compliance, PCI Tier-1 cardholder data, or other regulated data we do not support.
  • Use credentials or accounts belonging to another person without authorization.
  • Bypass our subscription limits (seats, storage, AI credits, API rate limits).

2. Worker & Crew Monitoring

FieldsHub includes features that capture worker location at clock-in, photos, identity, and time records. As an employer or hiring contractor, you must:

  • Provide written notice of monitoring to each worker before any data is collected.
  • Obtain written or in-app consent where required by federal, state, or local law.
  • Limit use of monitoring data to legitimate business purposes (attendance, payroll verification, site safety).
  • Refrain from using monitoring data for retaliation, discrimination, or interference with protected concerted activity.

3. Communications & Outbound Messaging

When using SMS, email, or PDF-delivery features (estimates, invoices, change orders, customer-portal invitations), you must:

  • Have a prior business relationship with each recipient or have obtained their consent;
  • Comply with the TCPA, CAN-SPAM, CASL, and similar laws that apply to your activity;
  • Honor opt-out / unsubscribe requests promptly;
  • Refrain from using FieldsHub for marketing campaigns to purchased lists.

4. AI Features

You must not use AI-assisted features to generate or distribute deceptive content, fake reviews, fraudulent estimates, or impersonations. You are responsible for verifying AI outputs before relying on them.

5. Reporting Abuse

To report abuse, security issues, or content violations, email abuse@beewist.com. Coordinated security disclosures may be sent to security@beewist.com.

6. Enforcement

We may investigate violations and take action including warning, content removal, throttling, account suspension, account termination, refusal of refund, and referral to law enforcement. We may also cooperate with valid legal process.
